Patna: Jehanabad defeated Nalanda and Siwan defeated East Champaran in the BCA Inter District Cricket Tournament played at different venues of the state on Tuesday.
Jehanabad made a brilliant start in the tournament defeating Nalanda by 6 wickets thanks to a brilliant century by Dishant Mishra (148 not out, 127 balls, 19 fours, 6 sixes).
Nalanda scored 231 runs in 49.3 overs in this match played on Tuesday under Magadh Zone at the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna. In reply, Jehanabad scored 235 runs for four wickets in 39.1 overs. For Nalanda, Manish took two wickets for 58 runs.
For Naland, Munna Kumar scored 72 runs and Ankit Raj scored 50 runs. Shivraj took four wickets for 33 runs for Jehanabad.
In match under the Western Zone, East Champaran suffered 147 runs defeat against Siwan at Sonpur Railway Stadium in Vaishali. Now, in the next match, East Champaran will face Gopalganj on February 24.
