Patna, May 14:The matches of Patna District Senior Division Cricket Super League League began on Tuesday. In the first match of the super league played at Moinul Haq Stadium, YMCC defeated Adhikari XI by seven wickets. Rishabh Rakesh (3 wickets and 35 runs) was awarded the Player of the Match award.
YMCC won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, Adhikari XI scored 181 runs losing all the wickets in 36.5 overs. Sachin Yadav scored 42 runs in 59 balls with the help of 3 fours, captain Akash Raj scored 61 runs in 55 balls with the help of 6 fours and Dhruv Kumar scored 32 runs in 40 balls with the help of 2 fours. Apart from this, Rajinikanth scored 19 runs and Vineet Singh scored 13 runs.
On behalf of YMCC, Rishabh Rakesh took 3 wickets, Mo Yakub took 2 wickets, Sanjeet, Harshvardhan, Rahul took 1 wicket each.
In reply, YMCC won the match by scoring 185 runs for 3 wickets in 30.2 overs. Ashish Mishra scored unbeaten 77 runs in 86 balls with the help of 8 fours and 1 six, Harsh Vardhan scored 38 unbeaten runs in 45 balls with the help of 2 fours, Rishabh Rakesh scored 35 runs in 35 balls with the help of 5 fours and Amit Kumar scored 22 runs.
On behalf of Adhikari XI, Akash Raj took 2 wickets and Utkarsh took 1 wicket.
Super League teams:
From Pool C, YMCC (12 points) and PESU (10 points) while from Pool B, Adhikari XI (12 points) and RBNYAC (10 points) have made it to the Super League. There are still two league matches left to be played in Pool A, after which the Super League will be decided. With this group, GAC have confirmed its place in the Super League.
