Patna: Baddi Fighters and Rungta Warriors entered the semi-finals of Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season-4 on Friday.
In this league being played under the aegis of Turning Point at Sri Krishna Stadium, in the first quarterfinal, Baddi Fighters defeated SKM Bombers by 9 wickets, while in the second quarterfinal, Rungta Warriors defeated Manav Rachna Lions by nine wickets.
In the first quarterfinal, Baddi Fighters won the toss and invited SKM Bombers to bat. Batting first, SKM Bombers scored 110 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Baddi Fighters won the match by scoring 112 runs for 1 wicket in 14.3 overs with the help of Manjeet’s 57 runs. HPCA Player of the Match award was given to Manjeet of the winning team by Prem Ranjan, Secretary, Bihar Private School and Children Welfare Association.
In the second match, after winning the toss and batting first, Manav Rachna Lions scored 125 runs losing all the wickets in 18.3 overs. In reply, Rungta Warriors won the match by scoring 127 runs for 1 wicket in 10.2 overs. Sanskar Prabhakar played an inning of 76 runs and became the player of the match. Naveen Kumar, convenor of this league, awarded him the award.
