Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Yadav launched his electoral campaign on Wednesday, the day of Ram Navami. Despite being weak and unwell because of his protracted illness, he launched the election campaign.
He travelled to Saran to campaign for the RJD candidate and his daughter, Rohini Acharya. Lalu Yadav began his political career in Saran, and his daughter Rohini is now seeking political office for the first time from the Saran constituency.
In such a situation, Lalu Yadav has launched a public relations campaign to secure victory for his beloved daughter. Rohini Acharya gave a kidney to Lalu Yadav, who was later treated in Singapore.
In such a situation, Lalu Yadav has taken on the job of campaigning to support Rohini and assure her win.
Rohini Acharya faces Rajiv Pratap Rudy of the BJP in Saran. Rudy has won two straight elections from here.
In such a situation, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who is claiming a hat-trick of victories, is up against tight competition from Lalu Yadav’s daughter this time. This time, Saran has become a premium seat for RJD. Lalu Yadav has thrown all of his strength here because his daughter is contesting. As a result, he has taken control of the election campaign to assure her victory. He introduces people to his daughter in a variety of settings and makes them feel very emotional and sensitive by explaining the significance of her kidney donation.
In fact, the Grand Alliance is contesting the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar as a single entity. The RJD is contesting 23 Lok Sabha seats. Misa Bharti and Rohini Acharya, two daughters of Lalu Yadav, are running for office in Patliputra and Saran. Lalu Yadav’s reputation is at stake in both of these seats.
By participating in the election campaign, he effectively put an end to speculation that Lalu Yadav would become less involved in politics due to health issues.
However, Lalu Yadav did not campaign in Jamui, Nawada, Gaya, or Aurangabad during the first phase of the elections. Tejashwi Yadav has made many visits for RJD candidates in all four seats, but Lalu Yadav has not campaigned.
For the first time, he has left for Saran for an election campaign. Opposition parties have also criticised Lalu’s move, claiming that he is campaigning out of obsession with his daughter. He does not give the same priority or attention to their other choices. He currently places no emphasis on other Grand Alliance candidates. Tejashwi Yadav has been primarily appointed to fight for these seats.
