Patna: There is going to be a gathering of star Kabaddi players during the closing ceremony of the 33rd National Sub Junior Girls Kabaddi Championship being hosted by the Bihar State Kabaddi Association at the local Pataliputra Sports Complex.
According to Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay Singh, Priyanka, the Indian women’s Kabaddi vice-captain who won the gold medal at the Asiad 2023 in China, and Pooja, the best raider of this event, will be present at the award distribution ceremony on April 3. Will be the centre of attraction.
Kumar Vijay Singh said that the presence of Indian women’s Kabaddi team coach Tejaswani Bai and Pro Kabaddi player Sachin Tanwar in the opening ceremony of this championship greatly encouraged the players. He said that the only purpose of inviting sports personalities to these functions is that the budding players should be encouraged to move forward by seeing all these and knowing about them.
He said that during the National Boys Kabaddi Championship held in Motihari, the presence of Deepak Niwas Hooda and Pawan Sehrawat enhanced the glory of the championship.
