Siwan Titans and Saran Strikers Clinch Semi-Final Berths in Bihar Women’s Kabaddi League

Patna, June 14: Siwan Titans and Saran Strikers advanced to the semi-finals of the First Bihar Women’s Kabaddi League at the Patliputra Sports Complex on Friday. Earlier in the morning, Sitamarhi Sentinels crushed Magadh Warriors 43-21, securing third place in the points table. Suruchi Kumari of Sitamarhi Sentinels was named Best Raider with 15 raid points, while Anjali Kumari earned Best Defender with 9 tackle points.

In an exciting match, Nalanda Ninjas defeated Siwan Titans 34-18. Nancy Priya of Nalanda Ninjas was declared Best Raider with 13 raid points, and Mani Kumari of Siwan Titans was named Best Defender with 5 tackle points. Saran Strikers edged out Patna Pelicans 21-18, with Gungun Chauhan of Patna Pelicans awarded Best Raider with 6 raid points, and Anushka Kumari of Saran Strikers earning Best Defender with 8 tackle points.

On Thursday evening, Siwan Titans showcased their prowess by defeating Patna Pelicans 25-16. Gungun Chauhan of Patna Pelicans was named Best Raider with 7 raid points, while Komal Kumari of Siwan Titans was recognized as Best Defender with 5 tackle points. Saran Strikers also triumphed over Magadh Warriors 30-25, with Sundar Kumari of Magadh Warriors named Best Raider with 9 raid points, and Pratibha Kumari of Saran Strikers awarded Best Defender with 5 tackle points.

The final match between Sitamarhi Sentinels and Nalanda Ninjas ended in a thrilling 21-21 tie. Nancy Priya of Nalanda Ninjas was named Best Raider with 7 raid points, and Anjali Kumari of Sitamarhi Sentinels earned Best Defender with 10 tackle points.

After 27 matches, Siwan Titans lead the points table with 36 points, followed by Saran Strikers with 33 points, Sitamarhi Sentinels with 25 points, and Nalanda Ninjas also with 25 points. Siwan Titans and Saran Strikers have secured their places in the semi-finals. The upcoming match between Sitamarhi Sentinels, Nalanda Ninjas, and Patna Pelicans will determine the remaining two semi-final spots. Magadh Warriors are out of the race for the semi-finals.
