Patna: YMCC and Rising Star CC will clash in the final of the Shivnandan Paswan Memorial Invitation T20 Cricket Tournament, hosted at the Moinul Haq Stadium. YMCC secured their place in the final by defeating Rajvanshi Nagar CC by 5 wickets in the first semi-final, while Rising Star CC triumphed over ERCC by 7 wickets in the second semi-final, marking their third consecutive victory.
YMCC’s Suraj Kashyap and Rising Star’s Animesh were named Players of the Match for their standout performances. The awards were presented by Bihar Senior Team Coach Ashok Kumar and former Ranji player Tarun Kumar Bhola, respectively.
Pankaj Anand, the Organising Secretary, confirmed that the final will take place on 1st March at 11:00 AM. The match will be streamed live on the YouTube channel of Jauhar Movie Center.
First Semi-Final
YMCC won the toss and elected to field against Rajvanshi Nagar CC. Rajvanshi Nagar CC were bowled out for 106 runs in 19.1 overs, with Harsh Raj (31) and Raunit (26) being the top scorers. YMCC’s Suraj Kashyap and Gaurav Raj each claimed three wickets.
In response, YMCC chased down the target in 18.2 overs, finishing at 107 for 5. Satyam Kumar remained unbeaten on 33, while Suraj Kashyap (20*) and Amit (21) contributed significantly. Utkarsh and Shlok Kumar took two wickets each for Rajvanshi Nagar CC. Suraj Kashyap was awarded Player of the Match for his all-round performance (20* and 3 wickets).
Second Semi-Final
ERCC won the toss and chose to bat first, posting 154 for 4 in 20 overs. Ashish Mishra top-scored with 65, supported by Harshvardhan (40) and Vivek (25*). Pankaj Kumar took two wickets for Rising Star.
In reply, Rising Star CC reached 158 for 3 in 18.4 overs, thanks to Animesh’s 63, Gulshan’s 46, and Aman Raj’s unbeaten 32. This victory marked their third consecutive win. Animesh was named Player of the Match for his match-winning innings.
