Patna: Basawan Park Cricket Academy and Cricket Academy of Patna won their respective matches and entered the quarterfinals in the Nanhak Mahto Memorial Under-15 Cricket Tournament being played under the aegis of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation at the Krishna Cricket Ground in Patna.
In the pre-quarterfinal matches, Basawan Park Cricket Academy defeated Karuna Cricket Academy by 92 runs while Cricket Academy of Patna defeated YCC by 7 wickets.
In the first match, Karuna Cricket Academy won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Basawan Park Cricket Academy scored 177 runs for 9 wickets in 25 overs. Deepu scored 56 and Prakash Raut scored 40 runs. Navraj took 5 wickets for Karuna Cricket Academy.
