Hyderabad: Uttarakhand defeated Bihar by six wickets in the U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy held at Hyderabad’s NexGen Cricket Ground. In this match, after winning the toss and batting, Bihar were all out after scoring 162 runs in 45.1 overs, while in reply Uttarakhand scored 166 runs for four wickets in 27 overs. Bihar’s next match will be against Sikkim on October 6.
For Bihar, Anubhav Singh scored 40 runs, Deepesh Gupta scored 38 runs, Vasudev Prasad Singh scored 24 runs, Gautam Kumar scored 21 runs, Aditya Sinha scored 12 runs, Harsh Patel scored 11 runs. For Uttarakhand, Lakshya Raichandani took 3 wickets, Shahanshah Alam and Shashank took two wickets each and Goldie and Abhijeet took one wicket each.
Uttarakhand chased the target easily losing four wickets on the way thanks to Aarav Mahajan’s unbeaten 71 runs. Samarth scored 45 runs and Lakshya scored 18 runs. Badal Kumar took 2 wickets for Bihar and Vasudev and Satyam took one wicket each.
