Solapur, May 1: In a bold declaration, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Wednesday, remarked that this isn’t the India of Congress-era, where a slap would be met with pleas to cease to avoid disrupting the ambiance. He emphasized that in today’s India, if someone resorts to slapping, there’s the capability to retaliate with a forceful blow.
“‘Ab koi thappad maarega toh naya Bharat zordar ghuse se uska jabda todne ki taqat rakhta hai,’” Yogi declared.
Addressing a public meeting in favor of BJP candidate Shriram Satpute from Solapur Lok Sabha constituency, Yogi Adityanath said, “Today, no enemy country dares to encroach upon India’s borders. Naxalism and terrorism have been eradicated. Even if a firecracker explodes, Pakistan promptly clarifies that it’s not their doing, understanding that the New India neither instigates nor tolerates provocation.”
CM Yogi entered the Maharashtra election battle for the second time on Wednesday.
In a blistering critique aimed at the Congress, the Chief Minister said: “These people have done everything to insult Hindus. This is the same Congress that questioned the existence of Lord Ram and also coined the term ‘Hindu terrorism’ during the UPA government to insult Hindus.” The Chief Minister asked people if Hindus could be terrorists.
He remarked, “The family members of the then Home Minister of the country have entered the election fray with ‘bloody claws.’ You have to be careful with them. These people had also said that Yogi Adityanath’s name would also be involved in the Malegaon blast. We will conduct a CBI raid. We said, send them with proof.”
The CM accused the Congress of using the caste census proposal as a mere tactic to mislead. “Through this, they aim to pit Hindu castes against one another, diverting attention from the issue of reservations. If Hindus start fighting among themselves, they will hand over their rights to Muslims. Subsequently, Congress will lay the groundwork for the Islamization and Talibanization of India. Division on the basis of religion should not be allowed again.”
The CM went on to say, “I come from the sacred birthplace of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. Workers from BJP and Shiv Sena in Maharashtra actively joined the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, contributing to its success. Thanks to the efforts of PM Modi and the collective cooperation of all, a majestic temple of Lord Shri Ram now stands in Ayodhya. This temple presents a grand picture of the national temple of India. The Ram temple serves as a testament that through unity and collaboration, we can certainly attain success.”
Asserting that Congress members couldn’t have constructed the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, the CM emphasized that they once denied the existence of Ram altogether. When the decision to build the Ram temple was being deliberated, warnings were issued that it would lead to bloodshed. “‘Maine kaha ki UP mein hum hain, macchar bhi nahi marne wala’ (I said that we are in UP, even mosquitoes are not going to die.) In the past seven years, there hasn’t been a single riot or curfew in UP. If Ram temple is built in UP, then the mafia’s ‘Ram Naam Satya hai’ has also been done.”
CM Yogi remarked that over the course of ten years, through the veneration of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s Constitution, embracing the social justice principles of Mahatma Phule, championing the women empowerment drive of Savitribai Phule, and bolstering the Hindutva movement of Balasaheb Thackeray, the reverberations of PM Modi’s clarion call have led to an enhanced global respect for the 1.4 billion Indians. The essence of their ideologies resonates in every initiative undertaken by PM Modi.
The CM questioned how the idea of changing the Constitution fits with Modi ji’s slogan of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. “Modi ji worships the Constitution of Bhimrao Ambedkar. When the new Parliament was being formed, Modi ji carried a copy of the Constitution on his head, emphasizing its status as the most sacred book of India. However, members of the Congress party severely insulted Bhimrao Ambedkar”, he remarked.
The CM made an appeal, stating, “Don’t vote for those who obstructed the construction of the Ram Temple and labeled Hindus as terrorists. The entire country is echoing the sentiment, ‘Jo Ram ko laaye hain hum unko laayenge’ (We will bring back those who brought Ram).”
The CM assured that the same positive transformation witnessed in UP would be replicated in BJP-led governments across the country.
On this occasion, BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Solapur MP Jai Siddheshwar Mahaswami, MLA Subhash Deshmukh, Vijay Deshmukh, Sachin Kalyan Shetty, Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, Maharashtra Government Minister and Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Gulab Rao Patil, BJP District President Narendra Kale, Lok Sabha convener Vikram Deshmukh, etc. were present.
