Ranchi, Jharkhand, May 1, 2024: In an exhilarating match of the National Women’s Hockey League 2024-2025 Phase 1, Hockey Jharkhand emerged victorious over Hockey Bengal with a commanding 2-0 win. The match, held at the vibrant Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh AstroTurf Hockey Stadium, witnessed a display of exceptional skill and determination from both teams.
Sweety Dungdung showcased her prowess early in the game, netting a goal at the 9th minute mark, giving Hockey Jharkhand an early lead. Building on this momentum, Pramodni Lakra widened the gap with another remarkable goal at the 23rd minute.
Despite the relentless efforts from Hockey Bengal, they were unable to breach the solid defense of Hockey Jharkhand, who held their ground till the final whistle.
