Patna: In the final of the Sadbhavana Cup one-day cricket match held on Monday, March 10, at the Krishna Cricket Ground (Khemnichak), the RIT Champions emerged victorious, defeating the GNIOT Blasters by 73 runs.
The GNIOT Blasters won the toss and opted to field first. The RIT Champions posted a formidable total of 223 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Aryan was the standout performer, scoring a magnificent 112 runs. He was well-supported by Samarth, who contributed 38 runs, and Agastya, who added 29 runs to the total. For the GNIOT Blasters, Ujjwal and Ashish managed to take one wicket each, conceding 39 and 43 runs respectively.
In response, the GNIOT Blasters could only muster 150 runs for 3 wickets in their 20 overs. Samar top-scored with a valiant 72 runs, while Ayushman chipped in with 50 runs. However, their efforts fell short of the target. Virat was the pick of the bowlers for the RIT Champions, taking 1 wicket for just 16 runs.
