Bihar Education Department Urges Women Teachers to Uphold Discipline and Moral Values in Students

Patna: The Education Department of the Bihar Government has issued a message to its women teachers, urging them to remain vigilant and committed to the education of children. The department emphasised that no leniency should be shown in imparting discipline, self-reliance, leadership, morality, and compassion to students.

On International Women’s Day, observed on Saturday, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, S. Siddharth, conveyed this message to all women teachers in Bihar. Alongside this, he provided significant guidance regarding their responsibilities.

On this special day, Siddharth encouraged women teachers to remain steadfast in their dedication to their duties. He described them as inspiring figures and reminded them of their crucial role in shaping young minds.

In his message, Siddharth extended his congratulations to all women teachers, stating, “Dear teachers, heartfelt wishes to you on International Women’s Day. Today is not only a celebration of women’s power but also a day to honour your struggles, dedication, and creativity.”

He further added, “As gurus, guides, and maternal figures, you not only educate your students but also mould them into sensitive, self-reliant, and morally upright citizens.”

Siddharth highlighted that the role of women teachers extends beyond the curriculum. They instil values such as discipline, self-reliance, leadership, morality, and compassion in their students. Under their care and guidance, young children grow into strong pillars of society.

He praised their patience, leadership abilities, and management skills, describing them as unparalleled. He noted that their ability to efficiently manage their families transforms schools into extended families. Despite limited resources, their efforts to provide the best education to students showcase commendable creativity. He urged them to continue this work across all schools in Bihar.

Siddharth also emphasised the growing importance of women teachers in Bihar’s evolving education system. He stated that they are not just educators but also thinkers, sources of inspiration, and catalysts for change.

He concluded by saying, “The education you provide will lay the foundation for a brighter future for Bihar and the nation. On this special occasion, on behalf of the Education Department, I salute your dedication and wish you all a prosperous future. Your contribution is invaluable, and we are deeply grateful to you. May your teaching continue to be filled with energy, confidence, and enthusiasm.”
