Patna: Riyanshi Gupta (Madhepura) will take on Pragati Goswami in the women’s singles final of Bihar State Ranking Table Tennis Championships at Bihar Young Men’s Institute Hall here on Monday. Both Riyanshi and Pragati won their respective semifinal matches easily on Sunday.
In the men’s singles, all ranked players won their respective matches and entered quarterfinals.
Kumar Harshit ((Patna) beat Ankit Kumar (Patna) 3-1 to win the junior boys’ singles title. In the youth singles final, Kumar Harshit (Patna) defeated Ankit Kumar (Patna) 11-7, 11-6, 11-8 to bag the title.
In sub-junior boys’ singles final, Priyanshu Das (Patna) beat Pushkar Verma (Patna) to capture the title. In the cadet boys’ singles final, Eklavya (Patna) beat Ansh (Gaya) to win the title.
In the cadet girls singles final, Kumari Annanya (Patna) beat Mahi (Madhepura) to capture the title.
