Patna: Rajasthan will face Chhattisgarh in the boys final of the 41st Junior National Softball Championship at the Patliputra Sports Complex here on Sunday.
In the semi-final of the boys category played today, Rajasthan defeated Kerala 1-0 while Chhattisgarh defeated Andhra Pradesh 3-1 in the second semi-final. Andhra Pradesh defeated Kerala 4-1 in the third place match.
In the girls’ category, Telangana defeated Chhattisgarh 3-0 to meet Kerala in the final. Kerala defeated Maharashtra 1-0 in the second semifinal.
All the matches were played under the supervision of Laxman Singh Gehlot, Technical Chairman of the Softball Association of India. The Joint Secretary of the Softball Association of Bihar, Rupak Kumar said that tomorrow the final will be held at 10 am while the prize distribution will be held at 12.30 pm.
