Bihar want to maintain winning streak in Cooch Behar Trophy

Patna: Bihar will face Vidarbha in their four-day Cooch Behar Trophy match beginning at Urja Stadium here on Saturday (November 26).

This match will begin from 9 am while the toss will be at 8:30 am. Both the teams have reached Patna. After defeating Manipur, Bihar team would like to win this match as well. But it would not be an easy task as Vidarbha is a strong opponent.

Bihar U-19 boys played their first match of this season against Odisha at home ground Moinul Haq Stadium, which ended in a draw. Bihar lost their second match to Haryana while Bihar won the third match by defeating Manipur by an innings and 332 runs. Bihar batsman Kumar Shrey scored a brilliant triple century in that match. Anup and Aditya played an important role in bowling department. On Friday, Bihar boys had a strenuous practice session.

Moreover, all the preparations for the match have been completed. This match which was to be played at the Moinul Haq has been shifted to Urja Stadium due to technical reasons. The responsibility of successful conduct of the match has been entrusted to BCCI referee Vijaya Lakshmi and umpires Ashish Bhanushali and Ajit Kumar. Other officials for the match are; Sanjeev Tiwari (assistant umpire), Paramveer Singh (online scorer), Anshu Kiran (manual scorer) , Amit Kumar (video analyst), Sujit Kumar  (assistant video analyst) and Rajesh Singh (ACU).
