Patna: Triumphant Cricket Academy has secured their place in the semi-finals of the Shailendra Kumar Memorial Under-15 Inter-School Cricket Tournament after defeating SCC by 45 runs in a thrilling match. The game took place on Friday at the Krishna Cricket Ground (Khemnichak), organised under the auspices of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
SCC won the toss and opted to field first. Triumphant Cricket Academy posted a competitive total of 164 runs before being bowled out in 21.5 overs, thanks to standout performances from Pratyush Vinayak (48 runs) and Uttam Bhardwaj (40 runs). Harsh Verma of SCC was the pick of the bowlers, claiming four wickets.
In response, SCC struggled to build momentum and were bowled out for 119 runs in 20 overs. Uttam Bhardwaj was the star with the ball for Triumphant Cricket Academy, taking five wickets to dismantle SCC’s batting line-up. Gopal Kumar top-scored for SCC with 25 runs. For his all-round contribution, Uttam Bhardwaj was awarded the Player of the Match.
