Patna: Bihar registered their first win in the BCCI Women’s Under-19 ODI tournament by defeating Mizoram by 184 runs in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.
Batting first, Bihar scored 237 runs in 50 overs. Captain Yashita Singh played scored 54 runs off 49 balls with the help of eight fours and one six. Vaibhavi Yadav contributed 36 runs, Khushi Gupta scored 31 not out, Mamta Kumari scored 21, Baby Rozie contributed 23 runs.
In reply, Mizoram were all out for 53 runs in 23.3 overs. For Bihar, Baby Rozie took five wickets for eight runs and played an important role as an all-rounder. Vaibhavi Yadav got two wickets, Rishu got one wicket. Two players were declared run out.
