Patna: Thanks to the superb bowling of Md Yakub (5 wickets for 30 runs), YMCC defeated Secretariat Club by six wickets in the Patna Senior Division Cricket League at the Gen-Nex Cricket Academy ground.
Secretariat won the toss and batted first, scoring 160 runs for 8 wickets in 30 overs. Aarush Singh scored 70 runs in 82 balls with the help of 7 fours and one six, and Ashish Raj scored 44 runs in 41 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes.
In reply, YMCC won the match by scoring 161 runs for four wickets in 26.4 overs with the help of Virat Pandey’s unbeaten 42. Md. Yakub of the winning team was declared player of the match.
