Patna, May 25: In the match played on Saturday under the Ravi Shankar Memorial Cricket Tournament at Bishop Scott Boys School, YCC defeated CCC Blue by 16 runs, thanks to impressive half-centuries by Virat Pandey (96 runs) and Rishabh Raj (63 runs). Suman Raj (61) also made a notable contribution with a half-century for CCC Blue.
CCC Blue won the toss and opted to field. YCC posted a total of 255 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Virat Pandey led the scoring with 96 runs off 108 balls, including 11 fours and 5 sixes. Rishabh Raj added 63 runs off 58 balls, hitting 9 fours and 2 sixes, while Rohit Pandey contributed 35 runs. For CCC Blue, Asif Hussain was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets for 45 runs. Sonu, Ravi Chaudhary, and Suraj Soni each claimed one wicket.
In response, CCC Blue managed 239 runs before being bowled out in the 40th over. Suman Raj scored 61 runs off 58 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes. Nishit Kumar added 29 runs, Raja Vishal made 46 runs off 64 balls with 7 fours and 1 six, and Ajit Kumar scored 50 runs off 65 balls with 7 fours and 1 six.
