Katihar: White XI defeated Rising Star by 35 runs in the match played on Monday in the Katihar District A Division Cricket League being run under the auspices of Katihar District Cricket Association at Rajendra Stadium in the city.
White XI won the toss and batted first and were all out after scoring 191 runs in 40 overs. Mohit Singh scored 50 runs and Vishnu Kumar scored 36 runs. For Rising Star Club, Sagar Kumar took 3 wickets and Harsh Nanda took 2 wickets.
While chasing the target of 192 runs, Rising Star Club team was all out after scoring 160 runs in 36 overs. White XI team won the match by 31 runs and secured 2 points. Aditya Sharma scored 39 runs and Sujit Kumar scored 35 runs.
In bowling, Abhishek Rajak took 3 wickets and Sachin Kumar Yadav took 3 wickets for White XI.
