Narayan XI Win Veer Kunwar Singh Cricket Trophy

Patna: Narayan XI won the Babu Veer Kunwar Singh One Day Final Cricket Tournament Title defeating Vaishnavi XI by 7 wikets at Krishna Cricket Ground on Wednesday. The tournament was oragnised to commemorate the birth annniversary of Babu Veer Kunwar Singh under the aegis of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.

The players were awarded by Rize Coaching IIT Director cum Organising President Dhananjay Narayan Singh, Web Journalist Association of India Secretary Madhup Mani Pikku, State Tax Commissioner Shashi Shekhar, Sports Journalist Suresh Mishra.

Rize Coaching IIT Director Dhananjay Narayan Singh said that from next year this tournament will be organised on a large scale and our coaching will sponsor it. The man of the match Anurag of this match was given a silver coin by teacher Ramesh Mishra. Sardar Patel Sports Foundation founder Santosh Tiwari welcomed the guests while General Secretary Naveen Kumar proposed a vote of thanks.

Winning the toss and batting first, Vaishnavi XI scored 85 runs for 2 wickets in 15 overs. Amrit scored 28, Ayushman Jain remained unbeaten on 16 runs. Vishesh took 1 wicket for 13 runs and Anurag took 1 wicket for 15 runs.

In reply, Narayan XI scored 86 runs for 3 wickets in 9.1 overs and won the match. Prithivesh remained unbeaten on 19 and Yashoda scored 11 runs. Amrit took 1 wicket for 35 runs and Ayushman took 2 wickets for 14 runs.
