Uttarakhand beat Bihar by an innings and 36 runs; Vaibhav Suryavanshi scores 91

Patna: Uttarakhand defeated Bihar by an innings and 36 runs on the second day itself in the CK Nayudu U-23 tournament being played at Maharana Pratap College ground in Meerut. In this match, Uttarakhand won the toss and invited Bihar to bat first. While batting in the first innings, Bihar was all out for 72 runs losing all the wickets, while Uttarakhand was all out after scoring 282 runs in the first innings. Uttarakhand took a lead of 210 runs over Bihar in the first innings. Bihar team was all out after scoring 174 runs in the second innings, as a result Bihar had to face defeat by an innings and 36 runs.

Batting in the second innings for Bihar, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 91 runs and Suraj Kashyap scored 57 runs. Satyam Baliyan of Uttarakhand took 5 wickets each in both innings, while in the second innings, Harsh took 3 wickets and Avnish and Ankit got one wicket each. Bihar’s next match will be against Bengal in Kalyani (Bengal) from January 28.
