Chittorgarh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Saturday, said that the trends from the 102 Lok Sabha seats, which went to polls in the first phase on Friday, underscore the nationwide sentiment of ‘Fir ek baar, Modi Sarkar’. He affirmed that the ambitious target of surpassing 400 seats is on track for success, pointing out that the resounding voter turnout revealed voters’ decision to entrust power to PM Modi once again.

The Chief Minister was addressing the voters at the concluding point of the roadshow in Rajasthan. He said, “I have come to pay respects to the land of valor, Mewar, from the birthplace of Lord Ram, Ayodhya. The history of this land reveals that it has never deviated from nationalism and has always been eager to make sacrifices for the motherland. As a modern pilgrimage site of India, this land receives homage from the whole of India.”

CM Yogi entered the electoral battle in Rajasthan for the second time on Saturday in view of the Lok Sabha elections-2024. He conducted a roadshow for BJP state president, Chittorgarh MP and BJP candidate CP Joshi.

It is noteworthy that despite the intense heat, chants of ‘Modi-Modi, Yogi-Yogi’ echoed on the streets of Rajasthan. Overwhelmed by the affection received from the public, CM Yogi appealed to them to vote for the ‘lotus’ symbol. In response, the voters assured him with chants of ‘abki baar, 400 paar’. CM Yogi and CP Joshi also garlanded the statue of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

Hitting out at the Congress Party, the Chief Minister said that the nation has suffered a lot due to the casteist-communal thinking of the party. They used to say that Lord Ram never existed. Such people have no right to be in power”, Yogi remarked.

Describing CP Joshi as “the most suitable candidate for Chittorgarh”, CM Yogi urged voters to elect him with more votes than the combined votes of 2014 and 2019.

Meanwhile, the voters of Chittorgarh eagerly waited on the streets to catch a glimpse of CM Yogi Adityanath. Even the intense heat couldn’t deter their determination. As the Chief Minister arrived at the roadshow, people welcomed him with rose petals.

Men, women, children, and the elderly stood on the rooftops and kept showering flowers on the UP CM. The general public was seen capturing Yogi Adityanath’s roadshow on their mobile phones. Women wearing saffron-colored saris greeted him with enthusiasm.
