Patna: A meeting was organized regarding the formation of Supaul District Ball Badminton Association at Anand Hotel auditorium building in Simrahi (Supaul) on Monday. Ramavatar Mehta presided over the meeting. State secretary of Bihar State Ball Badminton Association Gouri Shankar was present as an observer in the meeting.
Vivekanand Kumar and Shyamal Kishore Kamat were unanimously elected as the president and vice presidents of Supaul District Ball Badminton Association, while Sunil Kumar Yadav was named as secretary. Rahul Kumar will be the joint secretary and Saroj Kumar will be the treasurer of the committee.
Sunil Kumar Yadav, secretary of the newly formed Supaul District Ball Badminton Association, said that a training camp would soon be organized for school and college boys and girls in the district. Now ball badminton players of Supaul will also be able to participate in state level and national level tournaments, he said. Jaishankar Gandhi, Santosh Kumar Sharma, Rakesh Ranjan, Praveen Kumar Thakur, Badal Kumar, Amit Kumar Thakur, Mukul Das, Sanjay Kumar Singh, Prabhu Kumar were present in the meeting.
