GNIOT Blasters and RIT Champions Post Victories in Casa Piccola School Cricket League Season-5

Patna: GNIOT Blasters and RIT Champions emerged victorious in their respective matches during the Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season-5 at Krishna Cricket Ground on Sunday. GNIOT Blasters secured a commanding 9-wicket win over Oxford Super Kings, while RIT Champions defeated Quantum Warriors by 28 runs. Vaibhav Raj of GNIOT Blasters starred with an unbeaten century, scoring 105 runs.

GNIOT Blasters vs Oxford Super Kings

Oxford Super Kings won the toss and opted to bat first, posting a total of 142 all out in 19.5 overs. Avinash Kumar top-scored with 57 runs, while Piyush Ranjan (3/26) and Himanshu Kumar (3/5) were the standout bowlers for GNIOT Blasters.

In response, GNIOT Blasters chased down the target comfortably, reaching 143/1 in just 15.2 overs. Vaibhav Raj’s magnificent unbeaten 105, along with Ayushman’s 24, sealed the win. Vaibhav was jointly awarded the Spectra Flyash Player of the Match by paediatrician Dr. Suman Kumar (Professor, PMCH), obstetrician Dr. Hema Narayan (Harsh Hospital, Boring Road), and Shashi Shekhar.

RIT Champions vs Quantum Warriors

Quantum Warriors won the toss and elected to field first. RIT Champions posted 174 all out in 20 overs, with Aditya Raj contributing a solid 72. Rahul was the pick of the bowlers for Quantum Warriors, claiming 5 wickets for 23 runs.

In reply, Quantum Warriors were bowled out for 146 in 19.1 overs, falling short by 28 runs. Kumar Kartavya (33) and Sahil (26) offered resistance, but Agastya’s brilliant spell (4/25) ensured victory for RIT Champions. Agastya (18 runs and 4 wickets) was named Player of the Match.
