Patna: Shri Ram Khel Maidan won the title of Laxman Singh Memorial Under-15 Inter School Cricket Tournament. In the final, Shri Ram Khel Maidan defeated School of Cricket by 61 runs at Krishna Cricket Ground on Thursday.
School of Cricket won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, Shri Ram Khel Maidan scored 234 runs after losing all wickets in 25 overs. Deepak scored 78 runs with the help of 10 fours and 2 sixes in 49 balls and Rupesh scored 76 runs with the help of 7 fours and 5 sixes in 39 balls. Abhinav Sinha took 4 wickets for School of Cricket.
In reply, School of Cricket were all out for 173 runs in 23.1 overs. Abhinav Sinha played an innings of 55 runs with the help of 9 fours in 46 balls. Karan took 3 wickets and Sachin took 2 wickets for Shriram Khel Maidan. Rupesh of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match award.
The players were awarded by Viru Singh, MD of Spectra Flyash Industries Private Limited. Everyone was welcomed by Sardar Patel Sports Foundation General Secretary Naveen Kumar while Sardar Patel Sports Foundation Founder Santosh Tiwari proposed a vote of thanks.
