Stage set for National Sub Junior Kabaddi Championship in Motihari

Patna: Many star players will attend the opening and closing ceremonies of the 33rd National Sub Junior Boys Kabaddi Championship to be held at GD Goenka Public School, Motihari, from March 16 to March 19 under the aegis of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India and hosted by the East Champaran Kabaddi Association under the banner of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association.

Giving this information, Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay said that on the occasion of the opening ceremony, Pro Kabaddi player and Arjun Awardee Deepak Niwas Hooda, who has led the Indian Kabaddi team, will be the chief guest. On this occasion, Doha Asiad gold medal winning team member Rajeev Kumar Singh of Bihar, Junior Kabaddi World Cup gold medal winning Indian team member Sagar Kumar of Bihar, and Pro Kabaddi franchise Patna Pirates team member Sandeep Kumar of Bihar were the special guests. On this occasion, General Secretary of Bihar Olympic Association Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmed will be present as the guest of honour.

The chief guest of the closing ceremony will be Hangzhou Asiad gold medal winning team captain and Pro Kabaddi player Arjun Awardee Pawan Sehrawat. Apart from this, presidents and secretaries of various state associations will be present during the opening and closing ceremonies. He claimed that the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India had appointed International Kabaddi Referee Rana Ranjit Singh as technical in-charge.

Preparations for this championship are in the final stages, under the supervision of East Champaran District Kabaddi Association President Amit Kumar and Organising Secretary Aditya Pandey.

After a long time, the Bihar State Kabaddi Associations are fully geared up for the successful organisation of the National Kabaddi Championship being organised outside Patna. Excellent arrangements have been made for the accommodation and food of the players. Organising committee members will be deployed at the railway stations and bus stands in Muzaffarpur and Motihari to pick up the players near the venue.
