Patna: The Patna Kabaddi League 2024 kicked off in grand style on Saturday at the City Center Mall. The league’s opening ceremony featured a traditional coconut-breaking ritual, led by City Center Mall Operations Head Arvind Kumar Mishra, Bihar Kabaddi Association Chairman Kumar Vijay Singh, League Incharge Abhishek Kumar, International Referee Rana Ranjit Singh, Jai Shankar Chaudhary, and NIS coach Bhavesh Kumar.
In the first match of the day, Dev Yoddha secured a convincing 35-24 victory over Danapur Dabang. The excitement continued as Pataliputra Paltan defeated Barh Bulls 37-25 in the second match.
Barh Bulls redeemed themselves in the third match, overpowering Danapur Dabang with a 40-22 win. However, Dev Yoddha remained unstoppable, clinching their second win of the day by defeating Pataliputra Paltan 39-25 in the fourth and final match.
