Patna: The 50th Golden Jubilee Bihar State Women’s Kabaddi Championship is set to take place from August 21 to August 23 in Nagar Panchayat Bangaon, Saharsa. The event, organized under the banner of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association and Saharsa District Kabaddi Association, will be hosted by the Natkhat Sports Festival.
Kumar Vijay Singh, Chairman of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, announced that teams from all district units registered with the association are expected to participate. District associations have been instructed to organize selection trials and form teams to ensure their participation. All teams are required to report at the venue by 5:00 PM on August 20. The weight of participating players must not exceed 75 kg.
Arun Kumar, convener of the referee board of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, will supervise the championship. The organizing committee has arranged transportation for players from Saharsa railway station and bus stand to the venue. It has also been mandated that players must play on behalf of their respective districts, and each team must provide both original and photocopies of Aadhaar cards for their players during the event.
