Siwan Titans Widen Lead, Saran at Second Spot in Bihar Women’s Kabaddi League

Patna. June 13: After a total of 21 matches completed till the morning of the third day (Thursday), Siwan Titans were leading the table with 31 points and Saran Strikers were at the second position with 23 points. Patna Pelicans and Sitamarhi Sentinels were at the third and fourth positions with 22 and 17 points respectively in the First Bihar Women’s Kabaddi League at Patliputra Sports Complex here.

Siwan Titans won 30-20 over Sitamarhi Sentinels in the first match of the three matches of the First Bihar Women Kabaddi League 2024 held on the evening of June 12. Suruchi Kumari of Sitamarhi Sentinel became the best raider with 9 raid points and Komal Kumari of Siwan Titans was declared the best defender with 5 tackle points.

In a thrilling match between Magadh Warriors and Patna Pelicans, Magadh Warriors won 29-28. Sundari Kumari of Magadh Warriors was adjudged the best raider with 13 raid points and Rajkumari of the same team became the best defender with 4 tackle points.

In the third and last match on Wednesday evening, Saran Strikers won over Nalanda Ninjas by 21-15. Shivani of Saran Strikers was declared the best raider with 9 raid points and Anushka of the same team was declared the best defender with 3 tackle points.

In the first match held on Thursday, Siwan Titans registered a splendid victory over Magadh Warriors by 29-16. Aashiq Shandilya of Siwan Titans became the best raider with 11 raid points and Mani Kumari of the same team was declared the best defender with 6 tackle points.

In the second match, the team of Nalanda Ninjas won by defeating Patna Pelicans by 24-13. Nancy Priya of Nalanda Ninjas gave a brilliant performance and was declared the best raider by scoring 5 raid points and also the best defender by scoring 9 tackle points.

In the third exciting match played between Sitamarhi Sentinels and Saran Strikers this morning, Sitamarhi Sentinels won 29-28. Suruchi Kumari of Sitamarhi Sentinels became the best raider with 12 raid points and Pratibha Kumari of Saran Strikers was declared the best defender with 6 tackle points.
