Patna: The Laxman Singh Memorial Under-15 Inter-School Cricket Tournament will be organised under the auspices of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation at the Krishna Cricket Ground in Khemnichak, Patna, commencing on March 18. This announcement was made by Santosh Tiwari, the founder of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
Tiwari said that 24 teams will be allowed to participate in the tournament. All matches will be played on a knock-out basis, with each team playing 25 overs per side. Naveen Kumar, the General Secretary of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, will serve as the organising secretary for the event.
He further said that the tournament will feature a range of prizes. The winning and runner-up teams will be awarded attractive trophies, along with other accolades. Additional prizes will be presented for individual achievements, including Man of the Match, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Wicketkeeper, and Man of the Tournament.
