Ranchi: Shaheed Pandey Ganpat Rai Memorial Badminton Tournament was organized at Patel Park, Harmu in Ranchi on Sunday.
About 30 players from different schools participated in this tournament.
Dr Vandana Rai, Principal of SS Memorial College was the chief guest on this occasion. Ashutosh Dwivedi, convenor of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Arts and Sports Cell, Ranchi Mahanagar, Rahul Kumar Dubey, state president of Prime Minister’s Public Welfare Awareness Campaign, Doranda College teacher Awadhesh Thakur, News Ranchi chief Rahul Vyas and sports teacher of DAV Gandhinagar Govind Jha were the special guests. The guests jointly gave away the awards to winners and runner-up players.
