Patna: The selection trial for the formation of teams to play in the second edition of the Women’s Kho-Kho League to be held under the aegis of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar will be organised on April 14. This information was given by Neeraj Kumar Pappu, Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
He said that the open selection trial of the players in this league will be organised in Vaishali district. The responsibility for this selection trial falls on Amit Kumar. Players of all age groups from all of Bihar’s districts can participate in this selection trial. He said that the organising committee will make good arrangements for food and drink for the players participating in the trial on the day of the trial, and transport arrangements have been made to bring them from the station and bus stand to the venue.
Pappu said that this time it will be a prize money league.
He said that the organising committee is also considering increasing the number of teams. Probably this time, ten teams can participate, and each team will have 15 players. Also, each team will have a coach and a manager.
He said that to participate in any competition organised by Kho-Kho Association of Bihar as well as in this league, it is mandatory for the players to register themselves on the website of the Kho-Kho Federation of India. To participate in this, all players must reach the venue with the original Aadhar card, its photocopy and two passport size photographs.
