Patna: Rungta Warriors will face JNIOT Blasters in the final of Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season-4 being played under the aegis of Turning Point.
In the semi-finals of this league being held at Shri Krishna Stadium, Khemnichak Ground, Rungta Warriors defeated JIS Jabanj by two wickets while GNIOT defeated Baddi Fighters by five wickets.
In the first semi-final, JIS Jabanj won the toss and batting first scored 155 runs after losing all the wickets in 19 overs. In reply, thanks to Ayan Ritesh’s 51 runs, Rungta Warriors won the match by scoring 156 runs for 8 wickets in 19.5 overs. Ayaan Ritesh of the winning team was presented the HPCA Player of the Match award by volleyball player Priyaranjan Kumar Singh.
In the second match, Baddi Fighters won the toss and batting first scored 107 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, GNIOT Blaster won the match by scoring 110 runs for five wickets in 15.4 overs. Physio Govind presented the HPCA Player of the Match award to Yash Raj of the winning team.
