Patna: After two days’ rest, the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League matches resumed. RBNYAC and Adhikari XI won the matches played on Sunday. In Group B matches, RBNYAC defeated Rising Star by 5 wickets while Adhikari XI defeated Amar CC by 8 runs.
This is RBNYAC’s fourth consecutive win in four matches while Adhikari XI’s third consecutive win in three matches.
Out of 3 matches, Amar CC won 2 while lost 1. Rising Star won 1 out of 3 matches while lost 2.
In the match played at Sampatchak Ground, RBNYAC won the toss and invited Rising Star to bat. Rising Star, batting first, scored 138 runs after losing all the wickets in 26.5 overs. Sonu Kumar played an inning of 42 runs, Gulshan played an inning of 37 runs. For RBNYAC, Kumar Sahaj took four wickets for 17 runs.
In reply, RBNYAC won the match by scoring 139 runs for five wickets in 21.4 overs with the help of Kumar Sahaj’s 51 runs. Kumar Sahaj, who showed all-round performance on behalf of RBNYAC, was given the Player of the Match award.
In the match played at NIOC Ground, Fatuha, Amar CC won the toss and invited Adhikari XI to bat. With the help of 79 runs from Akash Raj, Adhikari XI scored 221 runs after losing all the wickets in 39.2 overs. In reply, Amar CC’s team was all out for 213 runs in 38.5 overs. For Amar CC, Kumar Rajneesh played a brilliant inning of 56 runs in 48 balls. Akash Raj was declared the player of the match.
