Inter-School Swimming Competition Showcases Young Talent at DPS Patna East

Patna: An inter-school swimming competition was organized on Saturday at Delhi Public School (DPS) Patna East, featuring participation from 11 schools across Patna, with a total of 146 participants. The schools included Litera Valley School, GD Goenka, Patna Loyola School, Trinity Global School, Dr. DY Patil, Millennium School, Saint Colonel High School, St. Xavier School, Saint Michael High School, Saint Karen’s Secondary High School, and the host, Delhi Public School Patna East.

The event featured a range of categories, including 25-meter freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and relay races for both junior and senior boys and girls. The participants’ dedication and competitive spirit were evident throughout the event.

In the 25-meter freestyle category, Rehan Iman of St. Xavier’s High School took first place, followed by Shrestha Bhardwaj of St. Xavier’s High School in second place, and Jayant Kumar Singh of Litera Valley School in third place.

Jayant Kumar Singh also secured first place in the 25-meter backstroke event. Aarav Bhushan of Delhi Public School, Patna East, won first place in the 25-meter breaststroke category.

For the Junior Boys category, Delhi Public School, Patna East, won first place, St. Xavier’s High School took second place, and Litera Valley School came in third. In the Girls category, Ishanvi secured first place, followed by Aditi Singh in second place and Tiya Singh in third.

Dr. Rakesh Alfred, Principal of Delhi Public School, Patna East, awarded certificates to all the winners. The event was well-received by students, teachers, and spectators alike, fostering a sense of pride and achievement among all participants.
