Patna: Rising Star CC and Crescent CC won their respective matches in Patna District Senior Division Cricket League being held under the aegis of Patna District Cricket Association. Rising Star CC defeated PAC by 7 wickets and Crescent CC defeated Panchsheel CC by 5 wickets.
PAC won the toss and decided to bat first at 22 Yard Cricket Academy Ground. With the help of half-centuries from Kumud Ranjan (67 runs) and Roshan Kumar (53 runs), PAC scored 187 runs losing all wickets in 38.5 overs. Gulshan Kumar took 4 wickets and Aditya Dhanraj took 3 wickets for Rising Star.
In reply, Rising Star won the match by scoring 188 runs for 3 wickets in 25.4 overs with the help of Animesh Kumar’s 82 runs. Gulshan Kumar scored 43 runs. Aman Raj scored an unbeaten 34 runs. Gulshan Kumar (43 runs, 4 wickets) of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match.
In the second at Gennex Cricket Academy ground, Panchsheel CC won the toss and decided to bat first. With the help of Bittu’s 45 runs, Panchsheel CC scored 123 runs after losing all wickets in 29.1 overs. Sonu scored 29 runs. Abdullah Wajih took 4 and Mohammad Rafi took 2 wickets for Crescent CC.
In reply, Crescent CC team won the match by scoring 124 runs for 5 wickets in 21.3 overs. Krish scored 43 runs. Saket Kumar took 3 wickets for Panchsheel CC. Abdullah Wajih (4 wickets) was awarded the Player of the Match.
