Sardar Patel Cricket Festival From May 18 in Patna

Patna: The Sardar Patel Sports Foundation will organise the Sardar Patel Cricket Festival, sponsored by the Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT), from May 18, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. This information was provided by Santosh Tiwari, founder of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.

He said that in this festival, to be held at Krishna Cricket Ground, matches for the Under-12, Under-13, Under-14, and Under-15 age groups will be played. The festival will continue for 15 days, with eight teams participating in each category.

Santosh Tiwari stated that the festival would serve as an excellent platform to showcase young talent. He added that the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation has been committed to promoting school cricket since its inception, with school cricket tournaments helping to bring emerging talent to the forefront.

Sardar Patel Sports Foundation General Secretary Naveen Kumar said that there would be many prizes at stake for the players. The winning and runner-up teams in all categories will be awarded glittering trophies, along with individual prizes for players. A ‘Man of the Match’ award will be given daily, and awards for Best Batsman, Best Bowler, and Best Emerging Player of the tournament will also be presented.
