Patna: Basawan Park Cricket Academy entered the semifinals of the fourth Nanhak Mahto Memorial Under-15 Inter School Cricket Tournament defeating Lakshya Academy by 63 runs at Krishna Cricket Ground on Thursday. In another match, Sardar Patel Cricket Academy Senior confirmed their place in the quarterfinals.
Sardar Patel Cricket Academy Senior defeated 22 Yard Cricket Club by 64 runs.
In the first match, Sardar Patel Cricket Academy Senior scored 163 runs after losing all wickets in 22 overs. Utkarsh scored 36, Saif Ali scored 31 and Himanshu Raj scored 28 runs. Rohit Raj and Aarush Rajveer took two wickets each for 22 Yard Cricket Club.
In reply, 22 Yard Cricket Club were all out for 99 runs in 18.3 overs. Hare Ram scored 20 runs. Shravan Kumar took 5 wickets for Sardar Patel Cricket Academy Senior. Shravan Kumar was given the Player of the Match award.
In the second match, Lakshya Academy won the toss and invited Basawan Park Cricket Academy to bat. Basawan Park Cricket Academy batting first and scored 169 runs for 6 wickets in 22 overs. Deepu Kumar scored 88, Yuvraj scored 35 runs.
In reply, Lakshya Academy were all out for 106 runs in 18.2 overs. Shambhu played an innings of 29 runs. Om Prakash took 4 and Ankit took 3 wickets. Deepu of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
