Ranchi: Jharkhand’s men’s women’s teams participated in the Laser Run National Championship 2023 organised by the Modern Pentathlon Federation of India from July 8 to July 9 at Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.
10 players of Jharkhand took part in this this competition. Jharkhand’s Neera Kumari (Girls Under 11) got gold medal and Monika Kumari (Girls Under 17) bagged the silver medal. Pinky Kumari (Girls Under 19) claimed the fourth position while Sonu Kumar ( Boys Under 19) clinched the sixth spot.
Shiva Kumar Mahto was the coach of the team. Modern Pentathlon Association of Jharkhand President SK Pandey, General Secretary Shailendra Pathak and other office-bearers congratulated the medal winners for Jharkhand.
