LMC win Justice PN Singh Memorial Cricket title

Patna: Lohia Nagar Mount Carmel High School (LMC) Kankarbagh won the Justice PN Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament title, beating Shriram Cricket Academy by 22 runs at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium on Thursday.

Earlier, in the semi-final match, Shriram Cricket Cricket Academy defeated Gyansthali Alamganj by 40 runs and made it to the final. In the second semi-final, LMC defeated Ashok Singh Memorial Cricket Academy by 5 wickets.

In the final match, LMC scored 83 runs, losing four wickets in 12 overs. In reply, Shriram Cricket Academy scored 61 runs, losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 12 overs. Man of the match was given to Keshav Aditya.

On the other hand, in the match played between the teachers of LMC and the students of class 11, the teachers won by 21 runs. Rupak Kumar was the man of the match.

Former Patna mayor Shyam Babu Rai, director of the LMC Group of Schools, Meenu Singh and BCA umpire Ashish Sinha gave away the trophies and prizes to the winners and runner-up teams. Suraj was awarded the best batsman trophy, while the best bowler award went to Keshav Aditya.
