Patna: Moonlight CC batsmen were caught in the spin of Samar Qadri (5/14) as the team suffered an 8-wicket defeat at the hands of GAC in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League.
Electing to bat first, Moonlight CC batsmen could not stand in front of Samar Qadri and Vivek’s excellent bowling, and the whole team was all out for 69 runs in 21 overs. Amit Raj scored 25 runs. For GAC, Vivek Kumar took 3 for 25, and Samar Qadri took 5 for 14.
GAC won the match by scoring 70 runs for two wickets in 7.2 overs. Kumar Rajneesh scored 22 and Shashi Anand scored 28 (not out). Samar Qadri of the winning team was given the player of the match award.
