At the close of the third day, Karnataka stood at 287 for 7 in 51 overs, with Shreyas Gopal at the crease on 1 run.
The match saw delays on the second day due to poor ground conditions. Resuming on 16 without loss, Karnataka added just 14 runs before Sakib Hussain claimed Bihar’s first breakthrough, dismissing SS Satari for 10. Hussain soon struck again, sending SS Nikkin Jose back for 16. Captain Mayank Agarwal, alongside partners Samarth R, Vice-Captain Manish Pandey, and Abhinav Manohar, helped Karnataka reach their current total of 287 for 7.
Agarwal’s century came off 125 balls, and he was eventually dismissed after scoring 105 runs off 131 deliveries, including 12 fours. Contributions also came from Samarth R (37), Manish Pandey, who scored a brisk 56 off 55 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes, and Abhinav Manohar, who added 37 runs.
Himanshu Singh was the standout bowler for Bihar, claiming 4 wickets for 51 runs in 12 overs, including Agarwal’s. Sakib Hussain took 2 for 86 in 11 overs, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi picked up 1 for 21 in 4 overs, dismissing Samarth R.
