Patna: International level taekwondo arena at Sports Authority of India (SAI) Sports Training Centre Patna was inaugurated on Monday. Director General of Sports Development Authority Bihar Raveendran Sankaran inaugurated the arena.
Someshwar Rao Chauhan, center in-charge of the Sports Authority of India, welcomed the guest. Sankaran inspired all the players to play for their parents, for the state and for the country.
He told the players about the steps taken by the government and the sports department in the interest of the players. This program was conducted by Someshwar Rao. Anand Vaghela, the Wushu instructor of the training centre, proposed a vote of thanks. Samta Rahi, deputy secretary of Bihar State Taekwondo Association, JP Mehta and secretary of Patna Taekwondo Association were present on the occasion.
