Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the consecration ceremony of the Shri Ramlala idol at the newly constructed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in the sacred city of Ayodhya. The senior functionaries of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust extended a formal invitation to the Chief Minister during a meeting at his residence on Friday.

Following the meeting, the Chief Minister shared his joy on social media, stating, “Today, life has become truly blessed. My heart is filled with happiness. I extend my gratitude to the respected officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, Swami Govinddev Giri Ji Maharaj, Shri Champat Rai Ji, and Shri Rajendra Pankaj Ji, for inviting me to the consecration program of the new idol of Lord Shri Ramlala Sarkar in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Jai Jai Sitaram!”

It is noteworthy that Shri Gorakshpeeth has maintained a continuous association with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya. During the British colonial period, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s grandfather, Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj, played a crucial role in raising the issue of the Shri Ram Temple. Following his demise, Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj embraced his Gurudev’s resolve, initiating a decisive struggle for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple. In 1984, when the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Committee was formed in Valmiki Bhawan, Ayodhya, Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj was unanimously elected as the president. He continued to serve as the president of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Committee throughout his life.

It is worth noting that over 4000 saints of the country and 2500 eminent personalities will be present in this much-anticipated program, which will be held with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s blessings on Paush Shukla Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080 (January 22, 2024). The sentiments of Sanatan believers across the country and the world are linked to this special program.
