Patna: Dharamveer Rajput of Citizen CC and Sanyam Shekhar of Kajipur CC scored centuries in the Patna District Junior Division Cricket League on Saturday. Dharamveer’s innings came in handy while Sanyam Shekhar’s innings went in vain. Kajipur CC’s Ayush Singh’s inning of 90 runs also went in vain.
Kazipur CC defeated Crescent CC by 1 wicket at Mangal Talab Ground while Citizen CC defeated Khagaul CC by 6 wickets at Khemnichak Ground.
Batting first after winning the toss at Mangal Talab Ground, Kajipur CC scored 229 runs for one wicket in 30 overs due to Sanyam Shekhar (102 not out) and Ayush Singh (90 runs). In reply, Crescent CC scored 230 runs for nine wickets in 30 overs. Alok (48 runs and one wicket) of Crescent CC was given the player of the match award.
Batting first after winning the toss, Khagaul CC scored 194 runs for nine wickets in 28 overs at Khemnichak Ground. Aditya Raj scored 38 runs. In reply, Citizen CC scored 195 runs for four wickets in 24.1 overs. Dharamveer Rajput scored 101 and Harsh Raj scored 42 runs. Pawan Kumar (12 runs, five wickets) of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match award.
