Patna: Dabang Bihar defeated Rising Bihar 36-34, 31-35,35-32 in the final of the first Bihar Ball Badminton Premier League (BBPL) organised by the Bihar Ball Badminton Association and Naugachia Police District Ball Badminton Association at the upgraded Higher Secondary School, Raipur Narayanpur on Sunday.
In the final match, Ankit Kumar Sharma, Suraj, Ashish Ojha, Rahul, Monu from Dabang Bihar and Santu Maharaj, Ashish, Avinash, Rahul from Rising Bihar performed brilliantly. Best player of the championship award was given to Rahul Kumar of Bihar Warriors, Badal Kumar of Royal Challengers, Ashish Ojha of Dabang Bihar, Ashish Sunny of Rising Bihar.
Naugachia Police District Ball Badminton Association president Manoj Kumar Lal, joint secretary of Ball Badminton Federation of India Gouri Shankar, Naugachia Ball Badminton Association president Uttam Kumar, vice president Mohd Shamim Munna, Radhakrishna Singh, Moinraine and Chandan Bhardwaj gave away the prizes. The guests were welcomed by Naugachia Ball Badminton Association secretary Gyandev Kumar and vote of thanks was proposed by treasurer Divya Priyadarshi.
On this occasion, Bihar Pickleball Association secretary Ranjan Gupta, Bihar Ball Badminton Association technical officer Rakesh Ranjan, Bhagalpur District secretary Amar Kumar Ahuja, Begusarai District secretary Vikas Kumar, Hari Shankar Singh Patel, organising secretary Sunil Kumar, and many sports lovers were present.
