Patna: Bihar pair of Asadullah and Kavya Kashyap entered the pre-quarterfinal of boys doubles event in the Yonex Sunrise All India Sub Junior (U-13) Ranking Badminton Tournament in Kolkata on Friday.
According to Bihar Badminton Association secretary KN Jaiswal, Asadullah and Kavya Kashyap beat Maharashtra combination of Ashlon Malcom Pinto and Pragnay Shinde 21-9, 21-13.
Earlier, Tanvi Arya and Shiwangi entered the main round of the tournament in girls singles. But both of them lost their first round matches of the main round.
