Patna: YCC and SPS CCC emerged victorious in their respective matches on Friday in the Laxman Singh Memorial Under-15 Inter-School Cricket Tournament. The event, held at the Krishna Cricket Ground in Khemnichak, is sponsored by Casa Picolla Restaurant and organised under the auspices of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
YCC secured a 25-run win against AK Cricket Academy, while SPS CCC claimed a 3-wicket victory over Karuna Cricket Academy.
First Match
YCC won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a total of 180 runs for 7 wickets in 25 overs. Raj Kumar starred with an impressive innings of 63 runs. Sumit from AK Cricket Academy took 2 wickets. In response, AK Cricket Academy were bowled out for 155 runs in 23.1 overs, despite contributions from Amit Kumar (38 runs) and Shubham Sharma (37 runs). In reply, SPS CCC chased down the target, scoring 106 runs for 7 wickets in 17.1 overs. Saman (27 runs) and Anand Singh (19 runs) played key roles in the victory. Deepak Kumar of Karuna Cricket Academy took 3 wickets. Aditya Raj of SPS CCC was named Player of the Match.
